Continuation of beach day

So I have been slacking on updating the blog, and now I'm gonna throw together some quick posts to play catch up.

While on the lake I got bored and went for a walk and saw some what appeared to be wild horses frolicking in the water. It was really neat, like something out of a movie. Ashley and Paula apparently saw them from a distance because they decided to come down and check it out, but by the time they got there the horses had left. We three were hungry and decided to go get the others and get some lunch. Along the walk back I saw a palm tree on the beach with several coconuts. I had been wanting to get some coconuts from a tree for as long as I can remember. I quickly hopped up the tree and got a coconut. I then beat it open on a rock and we all tried the flesh. It was delicious!! Paula and Ashley both wanted another, so I climbed back up again and grabbed one for each of them.

Helmut had heard that the vegetarian restaurant on the beach was good so we stopped in and got some grub. It was over priced and not really very filling.

We then began a walk to Ojo de Agua, a tourist hot spot which is a swimming hole that has crystal clear water from a spring. It costs three bucks to get in. If they didn't have a rope swing or the slack line I would have felt ripped off, but it was pretty cool. I had a beer and a delicious hamburger there to get my stomach full after the crappy vegetarian food.
